Baidu USA is actively seeking a Sr. Architect – Mobile Search to join our vibrant team. You will have an opportunity to tackle some of technology's greatest challenges while making an impact at scale. You will also have opportunities to travel to Baidu China offices in Beijing and Shanghai. The ideal candidate should have experience with search technologies and search ranking algorithms. Experience with mobile search technologies is a plus. The position is full-time and based in our Silicon Valley office in Cupertino, CA. We provide very competitive compensation and benefits.

Requirements:

- A B.S. degree in computer science or related fields. Master or Ph.D. degrees are preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant industry experience.

Unix Security Engineer

Responsibilities

In this position you'll be a critical member of a tight-knit operations team responsible for our highly scalable, secure internet infrastructure. You'll be developing new security policies for a global environment. If you're a self-starter with an appetite for lots of responsibility and challenges, contact us right away.

- Design and perform security operational procedures, as well as organizational, business continuity, and disaster-recovery procedures. This includes review of IDS, log management, account management, and reporting (as needed by "PCI" or other regulatory policies and audit requirements).

- Develop and manage security policies, processes and documentation in a global operating environment. Update documentation as required by ongoing certifications, audits.

- Identify and mitigate risk for both production operations and music content.

The Music Team is responsible for building the clients for mSpot Music. This service utilizes server software components to mobilize a customer's music. The role for this position is to create mobile applications on Android to support this service.

You'll be involved in the full software development life cycle, from requirements definition to customer delivery. Job duties and requirements are as follows

This position requires strong digital signal processing education, good intuition and experience with derivation and analysis in the applied research area. The candidate should be familiar with Matlab & C programming and experienced with processing experimental data on computers. Experience in 2D & 3D image processing and array signal processing is a plus.

PhD degree in electrical engineering, physics, applied mathematics and related fields is required. For candidates with strong mathematics and physics background, basic digital signal processing education is acceptable.
