[Tsinghua-NC] Fwd: Lei Wang had reached the summit of Everest!



Dear Tsinghua alumni and friends, 

On the 23rd of May 2010, Lei Wang, a Tsinghua alumna in Boston, had reached the summit of Everest and became the first Chinese woman, as well as the first Asian-American woman to climb the highest mountain on every continent and to ski to both the North and South Poles. 

Before then, there were only 9 people in the world that have finished both the Seven Summits and the Two Poles. Now Lei Wang become the 10th.

 

Congratulations to Lei on her amazing accomplishment!

 

Lei has returned from the Everest safely and she is in Hong Kong now. She will come back to Boston soon. More details about her adventure can be found at the following websites:
