Job Description

Senior Media Software Engineer

Description

You will be working on the latest media technology, participating in the design and development of video processing software. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design, develop and debug video processing features in driver and/or kernel
- Analyze and optimize driver and/or kernel performance
- Working with architecture team on media algorithm C model implementation
- Interact with teams across groups (architecture, hardware design, hardware simulation, Integration, and validation teams) in all product life cycles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team across multiple sites

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Experience/Skills:
- Solid knowledge of C/C++ programming with a total of 3 years relevent work experience in media driver, or low level media kernel.
- 1-3 years experience in video processing algorithms

Preferred Requirements:
Master Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering in video and image processing fields.
- 5 to 10 years experience in video processing software development in media driver and low level media kernel using C/C++ and/or assembly language
- Good understanding of video and image processing algorithms
- Understanding of parallel computing and multi-process programming
- Familiar with Microsoft DXVA interface and system programming
