尊敬的海外高层次人才，

由广东省东莞市政府举办的"2014东莞海外高层次人才交流会活动"，拟定于2014年12月初在东莞举行。诚邀有意到东莞创新创业的广大海外高层次人才，到广东和东莞参加活动，参观交流。

当前，东莞正围绕"加快转型升级、建设幸福东莞、实现高水平崛起"的目标，大力推进"战略性新兴产业五年倍增计划"，加快发展高端新型电子信息、LED、太阳能光伏、新能源汽车、新材料、生物技术和节能环保等战略性新兴产业，在新的历史起点上，急切期盼更多海外高层次人才的参与和合作。
   
活动定在12月初，报名截止日期为2014年9月30日。东莞市将根据报名及与相关单位对接情况确定参会人员，于10月底发出邀请函，对正式受邀参加"交流会"活动的海外人员，提供往返的国际旅费补贴，按每人不高于5000元的标准进行实报实销，活动期间的食宿交通由东莞市政府负责。

[Tsinghua-NC] 湾区清华老兵足球队招新



热爱足球的校友们，咱们一起踢球吧！

湾区清华老兵足球队成立啦！我们刚刚建队，现已有十余人加入。我们将共同训练，参加一些热身赛和小联赛，争取参加明年的华体会，在华体会上取得好成绩。

我们是北美清华老兵足球队的湾区分舵。北美清华老兵足球队 是一支以清华校友为主的足球队。自90年代建队以来，一代又一代曾经的校园球星加入队伍，共同拼搏。二十年来，清华老兵队多次获得北美华人足球杯赛冠军。 至今，清华老兵队依然活跃北美各项足球赛事中。每个有比赛的周末，散居北美各地，从事各行各业的老兵们在周五晚上或周六早上齐聚一堂，共同拼搏一个周末，周日晚上各自乘飞机回家。但是，由于北美清华老兵队成员分散在北美各地，所以只能参加为期一个周末的杯赛。他们很难参加像华体会这样为期两周的赛事，也很难一起训练和踢热身赛。

所以我们想把湾区爱好足球的校友们召集起来，组一支我们自己的湾区清华老兵队，大家一起训练，比赛，共同享受足球的快乐。欢迎大家加入！

在2013年底，全球8大國召開史無前例的全球失智症高峰會，承諾展開全球合作計劃，為阿滋海默症的研究與服務共同努力。全球目前有至少四千四百萬的阿滋海默症患者，但是民眾對這個疾病仍然有很大的誤解。據阿滋海默症協會在全球12個國家所做的調查統計顯示，有將近 60%參與調查的民眾仍然錯誤的認為阿滋海默症是衰老的一個正常現象，且對疾病的嚴重性並不了解。在這場論壇中，您將了解阿滋海默症的警告徵兆，危險因素，治療方法，研究進展；疾病中期以後常見的困難行為的成因，與建議的處理方式；以及中晚期患者的日常貼身護理，了解如何為日漸改變的失智症患者提供日常的需要。

8th Annual Chinese Alzheimer's Forum 
(Forum will be presented in Mandarin)

In 2013, the first G8 summit on dementia was held. The G8 countries committed to global collaboration to advance Alzheimer's research and services. There are at least 44 million people worldwide with Alzheimer's disease yet it is widely misunderstood. According to an Alzheimer's Association 12- country survey, nearly 60% of people surveyed believe incorrectly that Alzheimer's disease is a typical part of aging, and don't know the severity of the disease. In this forum, you'll learn about the warning signs, risk factors, treatments and research advancements in Alzheimer's disease; you'll understand the difficult behaviors that occur at the middle stage of the disease; you'll learn about the changing needs for personal care of middle to late stage patients, and get practical suggestions for coping with them.

胡雪救助基金
各位朋友、同学，清华大学1984级半41班同学胡雪， 因身患脑胶质瘤，目前生命危在旦夕。 胡雪同学曾是清华学生电子学会和校广播电台的骨干， 曾代表清华获得高校体操团体冠军，毕业后在中关村创立新路公司， 后移居美国，服务微软公司十多年，酷爱网球运动。 他的妻子贾卓凌也是清华同学。胡雪于去年查出脑瘤， 手术后积极进行康复，非常乐观阳光。近日来病情再次复发， 癌细胞已经扩散至脊髓，虽经手术但已经生命垂危。 胡雪夫妇没有子女，治疗和康复护理过程花费巨大。 在同学危难的时刻，在同学需要的时刻，让我们为胡雪同学做点事， 支持胡雪，支持他的家庭， 希望能够帮助胡雪获得更好的医疗和救助，让我们献出爱心， 并为胡雪祈祷！
