北京大学北加州校友会2014未名论坛 《中国改革与经济发展前景》


他们更像中国古代的知识分子,"学而优则仕"。林毅夫则有另外一种解释:"北大国发院的经济学家信奉的是以天下为己任,知行合一。"

这里,被《福布斯》杂志称做影响中南海的中国经济特区,却只呈现出北京大学国家发展研究院日益强大中国影响力的冰山一角。鲜有公众知道,在中国政府的很多重要改革计划中,比如电信改革、医疗改革、土地改革、铁路改革等,都有北大国发院经济学家的身影。

而就几位创建经济学家而言林毅夫、海闻、易纲、周其仁。林毅夫曾任世界银行高级副行长兼首席经济学家,是发展中国家的第一人;易纲担任中国人民银行副行长兼国家外汇管理局局长,中国货币政策被坊间戏称"易纲货币政策";海闻老师则在到访湾区时,曾和学友不吝分享过7.5%经济增长红线如何划定的"秘密"。

他们对北大学子是耳熟能详的师长,对外界是来自北大中国经济研究中心的顶级中国经济智囊;而今,北大国发院由姚洋院长接棒。

姚洋院长简介如下:

1964年生于西安。1986年毕业于北京大学地理系本科,1989年毕业于北京大学管理科学中心,获经济学硕士学位,1996年毕业于美国威斯康星大学农业与应用经济学系,获发展经济学博士学位。

现为北京大学国家发展研究院院长、中国经济研究中心教授、主任,北京大学社会科学学部委员,同时担任《经济学季刊》主编、World Development 副主编以及《世界经济文汇》、China Economic Journal和Journal of Rural Cooperatives学术委员会成员,金融40人论坛成员。

主要研究领域包括中国制度转型、开放条件下的中国经济增长以及农村发展。在国内外发表学术论文数十篇,著有《制度与效率-和诺斯对话》、《作为制度创新的经济改革》(中英文版)。获2009年孙冶方经济科学奖、第一届和第二届浦山国际经济学奖(2008年、2010年)、第二届张培刚发展经济学奖(2008年)。被评为2006年北京大学十佳教师、《南方人物周刊》2008年青年领袖。

Eva吴莹

思科公共事务部项目经理,专注美中商业经济科技高层交流。Eva曾在华盛顿邮报,南华早报,《财经》杂志,Bloomberg从事中国经济新闻采编报道工作. Eva曾求学北京大学与纽约大学,为第一名来自中国大陆的华尔街日报亚洲奖学金获得者。

赵岩

中央电视台大型纪录片《创新之路》总撰稿(总导演、总摄像、总制片四位主创之一) 。 2005年前任英国路透社北京记者站中文部负责人、路透特聘专栏作家。离职赴美后为路透撰写中美经济比较的财经专栏,同时应邀为FT、一财、博鳌观察、《财经》杂志、《中国证券市场周刊》、新浪等开办专栏及撰文。

CHAIN is hosting our Startup Success Boot Camp again to help you build a winning business. It is a series of workshops intended to help Chinese entrepreneurs in silicon valley -- such as yourself -- to learn the nuts and bolts of starting a business venture and understand the challenges and risks in the startup process. This is an invitation to the fourth workshop focusing on tax.

Eugenia leads the PwC Chinese Business Network (including China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong) in Northern California which was created to provide enhanced, integrated, and on-the-ground worldwide support for US and Chinese multinationals. Eugenia also leads the Asian business tax practice in Northern California and serves clients of the three pillars: (1) US Inbound Asian Enterprises that require substantial entity-level and cross border tax services; (2) Asia-Bound US Multinationals that require US coordination of services delivered in Asia; and (3) Asian-owned or managed US Enterprises that require a full range of tax services

The second speaker Chan Chang Fong is a tax director of the San Jose office of PwC. He is a Certified Public Accountant ("C.P.A.") of the State of California, U.S.A.
