各位清华校友和朋友：

11月9日下午，原清华大学书记、现浙江省组织部长胡和平老师带领逾百名浙江民营企业、高校、科研院所、高新开发区代表在Santa Clara Convention Center举办"2014浙江省海外高层次人才洽谈会"。届时，参会人员将有机会与胡和平老师面对面交流，也可与浙江11个地市有关招才引智和项目引进部门进行政策咨询。同时，随团的民营企业、高校、科研院所和园区的有关负责人将在现场与海外人才进行面对面对接洽谈。

此次活动机会难得，诚邀在硅谷工作、学习的各位校友及朋友踊跃参加。

 

活动时间：2014年11月9日下午（星期日）2:00PM – 5:00PM

[Tsinghua-NC] 2014年清华校友创业行（京津冀）”活动诚邀报名



尊敬的校友：

您好！

"推进京津冀区域经济一体化发展，打造首都经济圈， 推进河北沿海地区发展"，是国家"十二五"规划的重点。

此次清华校友创业行活动，将首次引领海外清华学子，走进京津冀， 体味她的活力和潜力，帮助你找到回国发展最为适合的环境。

活动时间初步定为：2014年12月21日（周日）至 12月26日（周五）。活动形式包括： 地方政府及开发区政策介绍；参观开发区、代表性企业； 与地方校友会及校友座谈；校友创业项目路演与展示； 与地方的投资机构和行业关联企业交流等。

考察期间的食宿行费用均由主办方承担， 全程参加的海外校友另有一定的国际旅费补贴。

欢迎拥有创业项目，有明确回国意向的清华校友报名，每个项目限报 一人，报名截止日期为11月16日。报名截止后， 各地接待方将根据报名的项目信息，确定受邀校友。正式邀请函将于 11月下旬陆续发出。

[Tsinghua-NC] Book Club Meeting 10/27



Dear Alumni:

 

Have you attended a book club where reading is encouraged, but not required?  Surprise!  There is a Chinese book club of this kind, right here in Silicon Valley.

 

The Strong Force Book Club will have its 2nd meeting held at 5:30 PM on 10/27, Monday, at 695 Moreland Way, Santa Clara, CA 95054.

 

The book to be discussed this month is called 當和尚遇到鑽石, translated from "The Diamond Cutter: The Buddha on Managing Your Business and Your Life".

Hi,

We look for talents for 'Senior Software Engineer' and 'Staff Software Engineer' openings in the PayPal Risk Engineering teams. The job description for 'Senior Software Engineer' is at Software Engineer 3 PayPal jobs in Silicon Valley at eBay Inc.. The 'Staff Software Engineer' requirements are about the same except project lead and system design experienced are desired.
