Staff SW Engineer, AP Team
This Software Engineer position will play a key role in the development and maintenance of 802.11 standards, radio device drivers and enterprise RF features. You will have an excellent opportunity to work with high caliber teams on leading edge technology and state-of-the-art products. You will be a major contributor to building our next generation Access Points and providing technical leadership in wireless technology. Experience in IEEE 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi product development is required.
 
Responsibilities:
- Define functional and design specifications to meet product requirements.
- Develop and maintain 802.11 standards and RF features for enterprise Access Points.
- Develop and maintain radio device drivers for high performance Access Points.
- Work with team members and cross-functional groups to deliver high quality products and services.
- Provide technical leadership to members in local and overseas R&D centers.
 
Qualifications:
- BS/MS EE/CS with 10+ years work experience in the Wi-Fi product development.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in 802.11 standards and protocols. 802.11ac experience is a plus.
- Strong radio device driver development skills. Atheros radio chipset experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge in TCP/IP and networking protocols.
- Experience in 802.1X, RF planning, IDS/IPS, Linux kernel, and multi-core software development is a plus.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming, software development and embedded systems.
- Good problem solving skills, highly self-motivated, and a good team player.

Brief introduction:  Startups 101 for Global Entrepreneurs is part of the Chung-Tung University Alumni Association-NC (CTUAA-NC) continuing program on entrepreneurship for its Bay Area members. The program will address the basics of starting a company in the United States, in Greater China or in an offshore location like the Caymans and how to position the startup for investment and exit. Intellectual property strategy for a global startup will also be discussed. The topics will be presented in a practical, useful way and will focus on key issues so attendees can take the next step in transforming their idea into a business
Presenters will be K&L Gates Palo Alto office partners Fred Greguras and Chuck Holland.
 
Fred has extensive experience in representing both Silicon Valley and global start ups as well as companies with a market focus on operations in Greater China and in supporting investors from those countries. Chuck Holland has helped many startups develop their IP portfolios in view of their investment and exit strategies, and has performed IP diligence for underwriters prior to IPOs or venture capital firms prior to their investments in startups.
 
K&L Gates is a global law firm with offices across the United States and the rest of the world including offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Taipei.

The role: Software Engineer, Network Infrastructure

As a Network Management Software Engineer, you will design, develop and deploy Google's next generation networking management system. The role: Front End Software Engineer for Networking

You will help Google build next-generation web applications to configure, monitor, and analyze Google's massive networks. As a Front End Engineer at Google, you will specialize in building cutting-edge UIs and APIs. You may design or work on frameworks for building scalable frontend applications. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about and have experience building leading-edge user experience, including dynamic operator experiences.

  • Build next-generation web applications with a focus on the network operator side.

Primary Objective(s)
As a Senior Software Engineer at FindLaw, you will build internal and external web-based applications and tools. This position requires front-end web building experience. This position requires both client-side and server side programming skills, and will be responsible for enhancing and building out our publisher platform. On server side, experience on spring framework, J2EE web application framework.  On client side, experience on Javascript, Ajax, CSS.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will take ownership of the software throughout the entire development process.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 5+ years of related experience

  • Experience on web development using J2EE, Spring framework.
  • Demonstrated experience with applications utilizing XML, JSON and Web Services
  • Ideal candidate would have experience using one or more of the following: YUI, Prototype, jQuery, other javascript libraries
  • Experience using XSLT, cgi.
  • Knowledge of database, content repository is big plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Quick learner, eager to leverage new technologies in a dynamic team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience on collaborating with multiple location international team is plus.

experience) based in bay area, California.

Here is a list of important things we're looking for in our ideal colleague:
- You love Django, and understand why we are passionate about it.
- You are great at jQuery (galleria plugin, highcharts, jquery UI etc. too)
- Virtualenv/pip/fabric are your swiss army knives!
