About Us
We are a venture-backed start-up going after a multi-billion dollar opportunity that sits at the intersection of eCommerce, large scale predictive analytics and social game mechanics. Think social and mobile commerce apps that engage consumers the way Farmville does, think large scale data processing using technologies like Hadoop in the Cloud, think predictive analytics that is built on deep mathematics. Think CalmSea! (Don't be misled by our website, we are in semi-stealth and don't reveal everything)

The Position
You will be joining an experienced founding team with proven track record. You will play a major role in shaping the company. We leverage cutting-edge technologies like Hadoop, Java, Flex and Facebook and Google API. We don't require you to know ALL of these but do require you to be a quick learner. You will contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, including product requirements, architectural design, technical analysis, implementation, and QA.

We guarantee that you will always be challenged and will learn a lot. And most importantly, you will have fun!

Requirements
You are entrepreneurial by nature and a rock-star programmer. You are eager and able to learn new technologies. You are self motivated, have an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and are fun to work with.

We are looking for undergraduate or graduate students with CS/EECS major. We prefer, but do not require, minors in Math, Applied Math or Statistics. If you have dabbled with Facebook or mobile apps or have tried to build games, it's definitely a plus.
