We are excited to announce the kick-off meeting of THAA-NC 2012 Leadership Development Program (LDP) which will be held on August 4th (Saturday) 3pm. The LDP is a 5-month mentoring program designed to help with your career advancement or next level adventure.
We are excited to announce the kick-off meeting of THAA-NC 2012 Leadership Development Program (LDP) which will be held on August 4th (Saturday) 3pm. The LDP is a 5-month mentoring program designed to help with your career advancement or next level adventure.
Our first introduction meeting proudly invites Mr. Zhu Li (Founder/CEO of UUSee), Mr. George Zhao (Founding and Managing Partner of Trendsters Venture Partners) and Mr. Bo Zhu (Funding Partner of GuangZhou InnoValley) to join us for an interesting conversation about career development in the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom）industry.
For members who have completed the online registration to be a mentor or mentee of LDP, we highly encourage you to attend the meeting to meet with mentors and other mentees. You will have the opportunity of identifying a mutually agreed-upon mentor at the meeting. Priority for mentor/mentee matching will be given to event attendees.

Bios of Invited Speakers:
李竹Zhu Li:
Zhu is a serial entrepreneur, Founder/CEO of UUSee which is one of the leading internetTV platforms in China, Founder/CEO of Future Software which was merged by Tsinghua TongFang. Zhu is also angel investor; he has invested 40+ companies since year 2000. He is the president of Tsinghua Alumni TMT Association, vice president of ZhongGuanCun PE Association, director of China Internet Association.
趙仕勤George Zhao:
Funding and Managing Partner of Trendsters Venture Partners, was previously a partner at CDH Venture Partners. Before CDH, George was Managing Director at Alibaba Strategic Investment Group. Before Alibaba, George was CFO at Mecoxlane Group which is now a Nasdaq listed eCommerce company. George was the Director at Morningside Venture Investment Fund after he served as investment manager for Intel Capital. George started his venture capital investment career in early 1998. So far, he has invested 40+ companies among which 6 have been Nasdaq listed companies.
Trendsters Venture Partners manages a USD100M fund, focusing on investing in early stage TMT deals.
朱波Bo Zhu:
Funding Partner of GuangZhou InnoValley which is one of leading Incubator & Accelerator in China. Prior to Innovalley, he had served Huawei for four years and was the president of Huawei Internet Business Unit.
He was a serial entrepreneur, Founder/CEO of Cgogo which was a leading mobile search provider in China，Co-Founder/CTO of NeTrue Communications in US which was a leading VoIP solution provider worldwide. Bo has over 20 years' working experience both in US and China, and is recognized as expert in Telecom and Internet area.
Bo has MS in Computer science from Arizona State University and BS in EE from Zhejiang University.

THAA-NC 2012 Leadership Development Program
THAA-NC 2012 Leadership Development Program aims at providing you a great opportunity to discuss your career development plans and issues by interacting with mentors and peers. It's a new mentoring program dedicated to advancing your career development.
As Mentee:
You will be coached by leaders in your field of interest. You will discuss career development with peers and mentors. Plus, you will make new friends and refine networking skills.
As Mentor:
You will mentor young professionals to achieve their career goals. You will make friends with new talents and benefit from refreshing ideas and perspectives. Plus, you will influence a group of talents and shape the future of your field.
For both mentees and mentors, this program is an excellent opportunity to build your career ladder and diversify your network.
