[Tsinghua-NC] Analytics Engineer at Samsung (San Jose)

senior analytics professionals who share our "Innovation through Passion" philosophy and thrive in a fast-pace, 
cross team, results-driven environment. If you want to take on highly visible, challenging, and cross discipline

Responsibilities:
 
Develop innovative analytics solutions to understand user behavior of Samsung products and services
Prototype and engineer data mining or machine learning algorithms to predict user behaviors based on past behaviors
Drive adoption of novel analytics solutions by product organizations 
Contribute to the organization's strong drive to be on the cutting edge of technology through the 
        generation of patentable ideas
Be able to quickly learn/adapt, using diverse tools and technologies
 
Skills/Attributes:
 
Substantial analytics experience, with a background in at least one, but not limited to, 
        web analytics/web metrics, statistics, statistical pattern analysis, NLP, physics modeling, data mining, and recommendation 
        systems for large scalable data systems
Database experience and server programming skills, such as Java, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, and Python
Experience in Hadoop, MapReduce and NoSQL database is big plus
Experience in information visualization desired, but not required
