Cyphort Inc, a next-generation security technology company, is aggressively expanding its global cloud service platform. Cyphort develops appliance and cloud-based solutions that protect corporate infrastructure against advanced persistent threat (APT), corporate espionage and IP theft. Our innovative approach detects armored malware, performs behavioral clustering, and correlation algorithms for contextual threat prevention. We are looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to work on our large-scale cloud computing infrastructure. This infrastructure will service our customers across all product lines and serve as an engine for our strategic growth. It represents tremendous opportunity to build a world-class cloud platform.

To be successful in this role, you must be a quick learner, have stellar software development and communication abilities, and work well in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to enhance your Cloud Computing skills, and simultaneously gain intimate experience in large-scale distributed systems.

Job Qualifications:

• At least two years of relevant systems software engineering experience 
• Strong and proven Java and object-oriented development skills 
• Successful track record of delivering quality results in complex cross-functional projects 
• Experience in large-scale distributed computing and processing big data sets. 
• Experience with highly scaling, distributed, multi-threaded software design.
• Solid understanding of the software development process and the task involved 
• BS/MS in computer science (or equivalent)

Preferred Job Qualifications: 

• Experience with RESTful APIs
  
• Experience with J2EE frameworks (Jersey, Hibernate, Spring, Jaxb, etc)
  
• Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon EC2, S3, ELB, SQS, etc)  
• Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment 
• Knowledge of relational databases/SQL, NoSQL data solutions
• Perl, Python, Php or other scripting language experience
