We are looking for smart and energetic professionals majored in EE.
She/he was graduated from a reputable school with several years of
high‐tech industry experience. She/he is passionate about the new
technologies, products, and
markets for the coming decade such as e‐paper, EV, medical devices,
energy efficiency, cooling, etc. The candidate is eager to develop
strategic business plan and execute on it. Position is based in
Fremont, California, with the U.S. pay roll.
This position is in title as Manager, Business Development, and is a
non-supervisory role. The parent company is the
world's leader of power device and energy management (such as PV solar
panel/module), a public firm headquartered in Taiwan with a several
billion US$ revenue.

Job Responsibilities
Formulate strategic plans to exponentially grow revenues in market
segments for brand new technologies and
products in next 10 years such as EV(electric vehicle), energy
efficiency, cooling, etc.
Design and use of TAM (Total Addressable Market) models followed by
strategies to capture market share
Understand applications of various technologies to address specific
customer needs in North America
Forecast both market conditions and sales for next 3‐5 years in North America
Knowledge and analysis of competitors and competitor products
Overall responsibility for a products' life cycle including
justification for prototype designs, working with development
engineering and the customer to determine specs, product launch,
product modifications, market positioning, pricing
changes, delivery, and manufacturing performance
Presentations on product lines to internal audience as well as to
customers at executive level
Manage the P&L for a series of product lines (profit, loss, pricing,
margin, etc.)
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a BSEE degree and education with a
significant business components
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from top academic school.
Minor in Business Administration or MBA ideal.
3‐5 years of high‐tech product/technology management experience,
preferably for an electronics product line in a
related industry; additional time in a technical sales position is
also ideal
P&L management experience and knowledge is a plus
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to
influence without direct authority
smart, aggressive, proactive, adaptive, passionate with great
business acumen and excellent presentation skills
Experience in managing a full product life cycle to take a new
business to a great success
Strong English and Mandarin skills
