[Tsinghua-NC] Tsinghua won 2011 Bay Area MeiChu Sai Grand Trophy!

Dear Tsinghua alumni:
   
    Good afternoon and Congratulations to everyone! I am pleased to inform you that Tsinghua has just won the first Bay Area MeiChu Sai Grand Trophy since year 2004 when the first MeiChu Sai took place here in the Bay Area! My hat's off to our MeiChu athletes who practiced very hard every weekend before the games and helped Tsinghua win the final title with an impressive record of 7:3! Attached please find the poster which has the details of the 2011 MeiChu Sai result.

    I have attended almost all the MeiChu Sai games this year and I am really glad to see the involvement from our alumni and their families and friends. If you were there to watch the badminton games and volleyball games, you would feel the same MeiChu Sai passion and intense from your old college days and would agree with what I said.

    Not only do we have successful games but also record-high attendees at the final MeiChu BBQ/picnic event this year! More than 200 alumni, families and friends from Tsinghua and Chiao-Tung gathered together in the pleasant sunny Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the good food and drinks while catching up with other people's latest updates. Also, It was good to see that starting last year we have more and more young alumni participating the event and building up their social networks through this venue

    I would like to thank Tsinghua MeiChu Committee, MeiChu captains and the THAA-NC executive members for their dedication and leadership in making this happen.
