Desktops, apps, and data should be accessible from any device, anywhere, transparently. Virtual desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is a key enabler for the desktop of the future as well as for upcoming cloud services such as DaaS (Desktop as a Service). VDI is a technology that centralizes desktops in the datacenter and makes them available remotely from multiple endpoint devices.

This role is for the View Management Console team.

Responsibilities:
*Work with product and engineering management to help analyze and refine product requirements and propose functional requirements, designs and implementations that meet them.

*Take responsibility from specification to delivery of key product features

*Write well documented, high performance, reliable, maintainable code,
*Ability to develop high-quality UI components that meet UI designs (work with an illustrator/graphic designer and the User Experience team)
*Work within a collaborative team, with other developers, to architect, design, help document, implement and integrate major product features
*Work with QA on test plans and test cases for components and features you are responsible for to ensure high product quality

Requirements:
*BS or MS in Computer Science with 5-10+ years of professional development experience on Java middle tier and web UI.

*Must be a strong Java programmer

*Must have very good OO design skill

*Strong middle tier experience of scalable, high performance, concurrent, multi-threaded solution required.

*Experience developing complex, multi-tiered web applications required, with any of the modern web app technologies such as Adobe Flex, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, JSP, JSF, Servlet and HTML.
*Experience with Database, JMS, ADAM, LDAP and system management is desirable.
*Experience with Java development technologies such as JUnit, Maven or Spring a plus
