[Tsinghua-NC] Samsung is looking for RF systems/digital frontend engineers



Dear All,

Samsung Information Systems America is looking for wireless RF systems/digital frontend engineers. Candidates will work as part of a team on the front end and RF system architecture design, impairment modeling, and verification of a cellular modem chip set for GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA, LTE, LTE-A, and other advanced wireless technologies.

      Job type: Full-time Regular
      Job area: Cellular chip development
      Work place: San Jose, CA

Job Description:
      Develop next generation RF system architecture
      Link budgeting, spec drafting, performance evaluation for the next generation chip set
      Digital front end design and performance evaluation
      Advanced calibration development
      Simulator reference design
 
Skills Required:
      Experience in RF systems design and impairment modeling
      Digital front end design including filter, AGC, etc
      Good understanding of signal processing
      Experience in coding with C/C++/MATLAB
      Team player
 
Skills Desired:
      Knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/HSPA/LTE/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/GPS a plus
      Knowledge of RF calibration and ATE testing a plus
      Hands on experience with RF measurement and lab equipment
 
Education:
      MS with 5+ years or Ph.D. with 3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred
      All lever of experience are considered
