Nvigen Inc. is a nanobiotech start up located in Sunnyvale, CA. Nvigen develops cutting edge nanoparticle research reagents for biotechnology and life science applications.

We have an open position for a scientist with strong entrepreneur spirit. The ideal candidate will be a well rounded person whose main responsibility is to design and perform biological application assays using nanoparticles. Prior experience in at least one of the following areas is needed: bioconjugation chemistry, immunofluorescent labeling, ELISA, protein, DNA and RNA assay, microfluidic device, cellular imaging and tracking, stem cell and neuronal cell culture, cancer imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, small animal disease model and imaging.

Requirements:
1. M.S., or Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular & cell biology, pharmacology, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science & engineering, biophysics or related field;
2. Self-motivated, able to learn fast under a dynamic environment, organized and detail orientated;
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
4. Track record of proficiency in research creativity and demonstrated scientific leadership by publications and patents.
5. Demonstrated ability in maintaining organized and accurate laboratory records and notebooks.
6. Successful productization experience is a big plus.
