Senior Staff Engineer Mechanical Design-03068 Description Job Description: Senior level servo-mechanical engineer to guide and implement innovative system design strategies for significantly improving resonance control and drive performance.  Work in a leadership capacity in a team environment to develop servo-mechanical systems and components for hard disk drives.  Build and lead cross-functional teams in resolution of complex resonance, servo stability, seek-settle, and head-disk interface issues. Identify problems, generate alternatives, and implement solutions to problems that affect yield, quality and reliability of the product. Take responsibility for systems design such as HSA and work with other team members and disciplines on implementing the design into high volume production. Take a consistent leadership role in resolving cross functional issues and driving teams to root cause understanding.  Mentor and motivate team members. This position takes the engineer through the whole development process from conceptualization, to modeling and performance prediction, design & supplier interface, component qualification, production release, and customer qualification. Travel on occasion to our Malaysia or Thailand manufacturing facilities to provide product transfer and problem-solving support.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead weekly servo-mechanical meetings to identify and resolve servo stability issues and act as a key servo liaison for the mechanical group Take ownership of a mechanical component design and work closely with FEA and servo teams to resolve issues Solve difficult cross-functional problems related to settling behavior and touch-down excitation. Lead the development of new resonance tracking and monitoring systems to enable efficiencies in the drive development process, yield, and reliability. 1.       Business Analyst/Test lead

·         Work as business analyst/test lead for our customer of a fortune 100 company.  The project is to provide operational support on an online and  offline tool that manages client's license system's production release, feature update, bug fix and etc. 

·         As business analyst, the candidate shall be responsible of interacting with business group, defining requirements, write up BRD, discuss release schedule, working with engineering team and engineering lead on the assignment.  The person will also create documentations that record current system's business logic

·         As a test lead, the job will also involve establish and driving the release process, as well as testing process.  Establish test framework, write test plan, test cases, regression test, UAT test and drive/execute testing and etc.  So testing experience will be preferred.

 

Requirements: 

·         The person shall also have excellent English communication and documentation skills. Passionate and self-driven.  Process driven and attention to details.

A leading IT Outsourcing company is looking for a passionate and professional account manager/business analyst to help manage customer relationship, projects and business development.

 

Responsibility

1.       Manage relationship with key person of client. Meet with customers on regular basis to collect service feedbacks.  Propose and drive the solutions to resolve customer concerns. Effectively manage  client's expectation.  Involve in negotiation with client.

2.       Work may require to be hands on involved in project delivery.  Be able to play project manager or business analyst role who will engage with customer and to clarify business requirements, propose solutions, negotiate delivery schedule, report delivery status, escalate problems, to clients, and oversee the overall customer engagement satisfaction.

3.       Responsible for developing new business in existing account.

4.       Responsible for developing new account in Bay Area and potentially West Coast

5.       Participate in the discussion of key account strategy.

6.       Participate in commercial negotiation, balance both parties' benefits to reach Win-win partnership

7.       Control the terms of pay back according to contract.

8.       Job may require to coordinate with China offshore team on successful delivery

 

Requirements:

1.        Excellent communication skills.  People person.  Fluent in English writing and oral.  Known Chinese is a plus. 

2.        Self-driven and self-starter.  People with demonstrated leadership and active member in social committee, school student union, and social network is preferred. 

3.        2~5+ year industry experience required.  Person with IT background who is interested in exploring business skills and opportunities is welcome.   Or candidate who has business, sales, or similar background.   

4.        Deep understanding on trend of software/technology industry.  Interested in technology.

5.        Based at Bay area.
