Subject: FW: Recruiting students in the United States
To: fengd <fengd@mx.nthu.edu.tw>
Dear Friends and Colleagues:
I am writing this letter to seek your assistance. Please help us to distribute the following video to your friends globally, especially those in Northern California.
(I apologize for the previously erroneous website)
Initiated by Academician Lih J. Chen (力俊,) President of National Tsing Hua University (立清大,) NTHU is launching an unprecedented effort: to recruit students from United States to come to NTHU as undergraduates.
We in NTHU have arrived at the conclusion that the time has indeed come for outstanding universities to “reverse” recruit students from United States. Asian universities are surging quality-wise and are now dotting on the global higher education radar screen. NTHU, an intellectually strong and open minded university in Asia Pacific, is undoubtedly among the best.
Being a student armed with an NTHU education, with a profound understanding of Asian ways and means will give rise to a new paradigm in life. Indeed, we made this decision because we saw the enormous rise of Asian opportunities, especially in the 21st century. Many things seem unimaginable in the 20th century, is now imaginable in the 21st century. For students in North America who have heard or saw the rise of Asia, this is indeed a good time to seize this moment in Asia.
The following video was made to announce our recruiting session which will be held between 15:00 – 17:00 on September 22, 2013 at Hilton, Santa Clara, 4949 Great American Parkway, Santa Clara, California 95054, United States. The session will be conducted entirely in English!
I would be grateful if you could forward this video to friends of yours, especially those living in Northern California. We welcome all participants.
Warmest
Da Hsuan Feng
