Position Description
This is an excellent opportunity to join a creative team in ON Semiconductor. Responsible for defining and supporting state-of-art power management ICs for computing applications. This position plays an important role in new product development and customer support: bridging the gap between PC system requirement and the definition of new products, generating technical literature such as data sheets, application notes and technical articles, building evaluation boards and supporting tools, evaluating new products, visiting customer for new product definition and promotion, supporting customer with system level design and motherboard trouble-shooting.
Position Requirements
Position requires a BSEE, 5+ years job experience, MSEE and Ph.D. preferred. The candidate should have solid background in power electronics areas, including: power conversion circuits, power electronics devices, modeling and control techniques for power converters. Intensive experience in DC/DC converters, especially in voltage regulators for computing applications, is preferred. Lab skill and hardware experience is required.
