mSpot is a profitable and growing mobile music and entertainment company based in Palo Alto. mSpot partners with major film studios, music labels, media companies, and all the major carriers and handset manufacturers to create the ultimate mobile entertainment experience.
Our Software Engineers are involved in the whole software development life cycle: from requirements definition to customer delivery. Technical responsibilities include software design, effort estimation, implementation, unit testing, integration, and bug fixes. Our Software Engineers own their product and work closely with the Quality Assurance Group to ensure a successful end user experience.

General Requirements:
-BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
-Able to own projects and take the initiative to see things through conclusion
-Good verbal and written communication skills

1. Client Application Team
Requirements:
-2+ years of Java or J2ME work experience

2. Android / iPhone Team
Responsible for building the client framework for the next generation of mobile multimedia applications on smart phone platforms including iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.
Requirements:
-Mobile experience with Android, or iPhone
-3+ years of work experience with object-oriented programming (C++, Java, and/or Objective C)

3. Back-end Server Team
Requirements:
-2+ years of work experience with Java or C++
-2+ years of work experience with Linux or MySQL
-1+ years of work experience with Perl or Python or PHP

4. Front-end Server Team
Requirements:
-2+ years of work experience with: JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS
-2+ years of work experience with SQL or MySQL
- PHP experience would be great, but not necessary
