   A friendly reminder of a great event, 台積電副總蔡能賢人文講座 - "從北京到巴黎的單車上 學會放手", on coming Saturday (1/14) hosted by CASPA. If you have not registered yourself, please remember to register it online today: CASPA Seminar  Registration.

    Dr. Tsai is Tsinghua Phys '77 and received MSE PhD. from MIT on 1983 and then worked for TSMC since 1989 till now after several years in Bell Labs.
He started his career from R&D Manager till QRA VP in TSMC.  He is quite energetic in sports, such as tennis and biking every day, photography and ballroom dance, and joined many international ballroom dance competitions in recent years.  In Facebook profile he describes himself as “老蔡重新改寫他的個人描述： 我是ㄧ個畢生以半導體技術改善人類生活的工程師, 我是ㄧ個永不懈怠不服輸的老選手, 我是ㄧ個對世界處處好奇的探險家, 我是ㄧ個時時尋找生活感動故事的攝影家.”

    I am sure that Dr. Tsai would be very glad to meet as many Tsinghua alumni as possible at the event and thanks for showing your support for our Tsinghua alumni.

    Good morning! Our Tsinghua alumnus (Phys '77) and TSMC Sr. VP, Dr. N.S. Tsai,  is coming to the Bay Area in two weeks to talk about his great bicycle adventure from Beijing to Paris at the CASPA seminar!
