cloudbeam is an innovative start-up that provides various Wi-Fi solutions for building energy and asset management. Our products include Wi-Fi enabled thermostats, plugs, direct loan controllers, lighting controllers, locks, etc.

Firmware Engineer Position at cloudbeam

Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and maintain firmware contributing to a rapidly growing Wi-Fi enabled ecosystem, which includes thermostats, lights, plugs, locks, cameras and more.
* Develop and perform tests to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

* Electrical Engineering or Computer Science BA/BS degree or higher.
* Solid C programming experience
* Familiarity with firmware development in various peripheral interfaces, such as I2C, SPI, UART, etc.
* Good understanding of tasks, threads, inter-process communications, and other typical embedded operating system concepts and debugging methodologies.
* Skilled in network socket programming (TCP and UDP, etc.). Knowledge of Wi-Fi architecture and security a huge plus.
* Creative and agile. Ability to adapt in a fast pace engineering environment.
* Takes great pride and ownership in designs produced.
