As a member of the Quartus II Device Infrastructure Group, you will be a key developer responsible for design, development, and QA of software tools and infrastructure for our Quartus II software especially in the area of FPGA devices modeling. You will also interact frequently with other groups in R&D, and develop vital pieces of R&D methodology infrastructure. The position is ideal for a strong software developer who enjoys researching and applying a diverse collection of software development techniques, e.g. generic programming, test-driven development, Agile development, unit testing. The ideal candidate should also enjoy working closely with code and colleagues alike. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience developing large-scale commercial software as well as simplifying and automating processes to improve cross departmental workflows and productivity in a fun and supportive environment.
The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following:
· BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
· Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
· Extensive experience with large code bases in C++, Python and/or Java.
· Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
