Responsibilities
The job requires development of signal and image processing algorithms
for the next generations of optical inspection and metrology systems.

The work includes algorithm proof-of-concept design and
implementation, production software design and implementation,
performance characterization, documentation. Significant fraction of
time will also be spent on system modeling, requirements development
and system characterization.

The candidate needs to be a self-motivated individual with ability to
work independently or in a team. Strong written and verbal
communications skills are needed for extensive interactions with
members of a multi-disciplinary global team.

Qualifications

The successful candidate is an independent and innovative thinker with
solid fundamental knowledge and working experience in areas of linear
systems, filter theory, signal and/or image processing.

Software skills required include C++, OOD/OOP, MATLAB and/or Python.

Experience in any one of the following areas is a big plus : radar,
sonar or astronomy signal processing, feature extraction, pattern
recognition, algorithm performance optimization, distributed
computing.

Background in Physics or EE is a also plus.

Good communication skills are absolutely essential.

Basic Qualifications

Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.

Doctorate (Academic)
